Rain
It took a good chunk of time to get all the way from The Shores to the treeline near The Wetlands, but finally they made it. Rain wasn't about to get all up in the muddy, swampy shit, so luckily the den was far enough from the coast that they didn't have to. The sun was surely setting and the downfall wouldn't let up, and Rain depended almost solely on her sense of smell to get the group to that den. Of course, the rain sent little bits of sound back to Rain, and while she's been known to be extremely exceptional in echolocation, she couldn't really use that skill right now. It's got to be the perfect conditions or it just sounds like nonsense. So that's why she was depending on smell, which never seemed to fail her.
She'd been there a day or two ago so it was only a matter or following her own scent. And avoiding rocks and cliffs and shit of course. Finally she approached the den and sighed out of relief. At last, they could rest and maybe get away from the persistent moisture. "What'd I tell you?" Rain said regarding the puny size of the den. She had dibs though, considering she found it and was also pretty small. Rain couldn't be sure how big her new companions were, but it would be a tight squeeze to get everyone in.
Rain noticed the shift in Harmony's attitude since Paint's presence. She wasn't as outgoing as her sister obviously, but she wasn't saying much and trailed further behind everyone else. She didn't know a lot about Harmony, but Rain felt some connection with her just based on her suspicious attitude and willingness to protect Melody. Rain herself was a suspicious thing, the difference between her and Harmony though was apparently that Rain made the decision to suppress hers and carry on with caution. She'd never let her paranoia stop her from taking advantage of a situation. So despite the similarities they shared, Rain thought it would be easiest to make friends with Melody. She took a seat at the edge of the den and addressed the girl. "What are you doing going for walks on a pack's territory?"
In fact... there were four wolves here. The sisters weren't part of a pack, and neither was Paint, or she would have mentioned it upon first meeting. That, and the fact that she's apparently not had any wolf-to-wolf communication in a while. What were any of them doing here?
