Tallahassee
It was a cold morning and the snow was coming down at a fast pace. Tallahassee trotted quickly through the cold powder, confident the heavy snow fall would fill his tracks and keep his trail hidden from his pack mates. The silence of the morning was somewhat unnerving. Even the normal rushing sounds of the water were silenced as a thick layer of ice has settled across the top of Northbounder's river. He raised his muzzle to the air and sniffed a few times, trying to catch a whiff of Wyatt on the wind. So far no luck. Tally signed and settled in beneath a bare oak tree, laying down in a tight ball to keep warm. He trusted Wyatt would come. Ever since they'd first met, the male had kept his promise and met with him everyday to learn about plants and healing and maybe even to have fun. Tally couldn't help but think maybe they were becoming more than just teacher and student, maybe they were actually friends! Wouldn't that be nice? The only problem was they couldn't truly be friends...Tallahassee was still hiding a large part of his life from Wyatt..no friend would do that. Letting out a sad sigh he laid his head on his paws. As each day went on, the weight on his chest seemed to grow more and more. He found himself almost begging to be set free, but he couldn't tell Wyatt now. It'd been too long, too much had gone on to just blurt out he was in a pack...He'd always been in a pack, but was just a lowly subordinate, not a teacher or a healer or anything Wyatt would be able to look up to..nothing worth keeping around. Tally sniffled as he felt a rush of sadness and fear. God he hoped Wyatt showed up soon, he needed to get out of his head and actually enjoy his time.
