Ragnar speaks. Whisper speaks.
The auburn and brown colored wolf sat atop the rocks next to the waterfall, giving him a height advantage over the water and the sloping ground that the the stream's water followed. It was a chilly day - but that never bothered him any. He preferred the winter - it culled the weaklings of the world when it showed its ferocity enough. Unfortunately though, that hadn't happened thus far as the weather had been much more tame than when he was in his younger days. His stomach twisted and itched with the urge for food - he hadn't eaten in a few days. He never showed his hunger outwardly of course - but that didn't mean he was still hungry.
His nose twitched and he heard paw steps, and glanced up with his eye to see a canine carrying a dead rabbit to the edge of the water. It didn't smell like a wolf, but it didn't smell like a coyote either. Her ears were humongous and the female looked to be lithe, basically skin and bones. She hadn't seemed to have noticed him, for she was too busy nibbling on the meat on her kill's foot.
Rising to his paws, he stepped into the water and waded through the rushing water on top of the small waterfall before it fell to the lower level, stepping back out onto the rocks on the other side and stalking down towards where the coy-wolf was eating her kill. He watched as she glanced up to look at him and her eyes widened, ears pinning back. A cruel amusement grew in him at seeing that sight - her clear fear of him. He decided to test her.
"May I have some?" His voice was icy and his stare blank, but, there was a frigid politeness within his tone. Though clearly he asked her a question, it was rhetorical in nature as he placed a paw on the rabbit and slid it closer to himself.
"Uhm..." As she paused, gulping, he narrowed his eyes slightly at her. Her hesitation wasn't very promising, and he wondered if she was planning a way to distract him to get her kill back. "O-okay.. I.. you can have it, it's okay! I.. yeah, hehe," she babbled, backing up a few paces as her eyes fixed on the scar on his face. He arched an eyebrow. She was just going to let him steal her kill.. how pathetic. Though he also knew that he should watch her closely regardless, in case this was all a ruse she was putting on. If she was was going to plan a way to get him back later on.
