VERTHALL
"Tangled within the tall Imana Mountains is the land of Verthall, made primarily of flower-filled fields and rocky terrain. In the north is Northbound's largest wetland, feeding into the Nathernaan sea and neighboring the secluded Eld Tal Island. Follow to coastline and rivers further south, however, and you may also towering cliffs, patches of forests, or even a large cave system leading to The Skaadlands."

The Areas
Eld Tal IslandThough this island is only connected to the mainland by a thin sandbar that cuts through the sea, it is often considered a part of Verthall territory. Eld Tal Island is a long, narrow slice of land that is covered with trees, more densely so to the north. There are two small freshwater lakes here as well that allows a few species to comfortably inhabit the land. To the northeast, off the shores, are two other small islands that are nameless and very difficult to reach.
North of the Imana Mountains
The tall and majestic Imana Mountains do not reach the Nathernaan sea, instead tapering off to the east and leaving it's northern face to overlook vast fields over the rocky cliffs there. Cutting through those lands is a river which from a large and murky wetland and leads around the mountains heading south. To the east of the wetlands begins the shores, and south of there is a comparatively small mountainous area which obscures the fields. To the west of the wetlands' river is more open area, the only trees being a small, sparse wood beside a larger patch of dead forest tucked closer to Imana Mountains. The grassy plains are home to four odd, human structures, called "tents", that have been nailed to the ground but are tattered and torn because of the elements.
Eastern Shores and Fields
The eastern edge of Verthall is mostly flat, unobscured land. A very long and beautiful beach makes up the shore, fading away into fields with a few hills and a tree or two the closer you find yourself to water. The easternmost point of Verthall is marked by the land's largest lake, being fed into by the river that leads northwest to the wetlands and then draining into another river that leads west towards the mountains.
Along the Imana Mountains
There is more habitable land to be found set into the eastern side of the Imana Mountains. The densest of the forests in Verthall can be found here, especially in the far south across the rushing river that leads to the lowest points deep in the mountain range. The land here is rocky and brittle but still manages to grow grasses and form a few lakes. More north in the mountains is a few caves, as well as some hot springs and larger bodies of water which attract many species of prey.Southern Cave Systems
These cave systems make up one half of the two largest in Northbound's lands, with many splintering tunnels and secret passages. The entrance is north-facing, hidden by the dense forest in the southern part of Verthall, and if you follow the correct paths deep enough you just may find the exit, which opens up into The Skaadlands.
Be wary in here and don't get lost. There's hardly any food or water to be found in the dark.
