Alis stumbled towards the large stone structure, her eyes merely slits and hardly helping her to aim herself in it's direction. On her face was a deep wince, and on her scruff and hind leg were shallow scratches. She wasn't feeling all that great but she knew that she was going to be okay as long as she calmed down and let her body rest for a moment. That Northbounder might've been small but she'd put up a fierce fight.
Or she had, at least, before Alis tore out her throat and unceremoniously left the body to rot in the Wetlands. They had just barely been inside the territory, and Alis had really wanted for the girl to just turn around and not give her any trouble, but as it turns out not everyone was happy about the GoS' monopoly on some of the larger elk herds in the land. The Eigandi eventually got close enough to her ancestor's landmark that she was able to press her shoulder against it and let it hold her weight. She sighed, silently hoping that the young girl hadn't been a new mother this spring. Alis frowned at the thought but couldn't let herself dwell on it. She had pups and yearlings and adults of her own to look out for, and after one too many threats on their lives and then a lunge directed at her own neck, she couldn't have just let that girl waltz away.
Her eyes squeezed shut and she further slumped against the cool rock, feeling the morning dew press into the fur at her shoulder. The responsible thing to do right now would be to seek out Okiro, but Alis really just wanted a moment to herself.
