Once it had stopped raining and was a little cooler, Issa slipped out of her apartment with Piccolo in his little cat harness to take him for a stroll. The stormy, dark clouds had passed and while the ground was left a little damp, Piccolo didn't seem to mind all that much as they made their way to the park. It had quickly became one of Issa's favorite places to go. It was cute and quaint and she loved watching the swans drift around in the little lake. Plus, it had a little paved-out pathway Piccolo could explore and plenty of stuff for him to get into.
When she arrived, she was pleased to find that the park was fairly empty. She didn't mind running into a few people here and there, but the kids being rambunctious on the playground had a habit of storming up to Issa just so they could pet Piccolo. She didn't mind that, either, and actually found it pretty cute to watch them all crowd around and shower him in attention he certainly never rejected, but sometimes it could be a little stressful for both her and her cat.
He seemed to be doing pretty well, though, as he padded along happily with his tail swishing up in the air like he owned the place. Sure, she got a few weird looks from a few people jogging by, but she paid no mind to them. Was it so weird to want to make sure her cat stays healthy?
She really couldn't care less about what people thought. Piccolo loves going on walks and she enjoys being able to explore with him. She smiled as he meowed at a passer by, who abruptly stopped to ask if they could pet him. Issa, of course, said yes and watched as he got all doey-eyed and lovey.
