Kole
It was really the first time in a while Kole could say the place was truly beautiful. Sure there was some neat ledges by the big lakes and hazy forests and pretty skies, yeah, alright, whatever. But this was actually pretty on it's own. This place didn't need the fog and perfect amount of sunlight to be pretty, although it was certainly helping right now. Kole was confident it would look nice here even on an ugly day.
The small patches of trees in this crease of the mountain were nice for lookin' at, for framing the water here. Hot springs always had such thick, cloudy-looking water but hey, that was the appeal for Kole! And it had light steam rolling off of it, fading into the foggy sky.
She stepped closer, very slowly easing herself into the warm water. Kole almost wished the sky was clear, as wrong as it felt to think that. She knew there were mountains in the distance, and more trees, but she really couldn't see past the nook she was in. At the same time though, the haze gave Kole a sense of seclusion and security she found really comforting. Too bad she couldn't see both versions at once.
It was pretty fucking hot compared to the chilly day today. Bearable (though Kole would have stuck it out even if it was scalding for a while), but it took a minute to get used to it. It made her curious if the spring a few yards away was similarly hot. It's okay, it's not like she had places to be -- she could just take it slow and start with her legs.
But then suddenly, all at once Kole slipped off she shallowly-covered rock she was on and became submerged. She hooked her legs on the ledge and got herself out, making a huge scene and splashing and gasping for breath. Next she just found herself a few feet from the water, recovering from how fucking hot that was for a second there. But now she was shivering because it was even colder out here now that she was soaking wet! How awful.
